Your wedding day moves quickly, and the photographs should preserve not only how it looked, but how it felt. I document weddings with a balance of observation and intention, capturing genuine emotions, important moments, and the subtle details that often become more meaningful over time. My goal is to create a collection of images that tells the story of your day honestly and beautifully, allowing you to revisit it for years to come.

1. where are you located? Do you travel?

I'm based in Canberra and I love to travel! While most of my clients are in Canberra & surrounding regions, I've been fortunate enough to travel across Australia and the world to photograph all kinds of people and events. Wherever you are located, I'd love to speak with and discuss your photography needs.

2. WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE?

I'm proud of the photos I create and I want you to be proud of them too. As your photographer, it's my job to curate the best images - the ones that speak the loudest and really tell the story - so you don't have to worry about wading through hundreds or thousands of photos to find the best ones. The exact number of images you receive will depend on your session, but you can expect a carefully selected gallery of professionally edited, high-resolution images that tell the story of your event, available through an easy to access, shareable online gallery.

Delivery timelines depend on the type of session, but most non-wedding galleries are usually delivered within 24 hours of the event.

3. What is your cancellation policy?

Life happens, and sometimes plans can change. If you need to reschedule your session, please provide as much notice as possible. Sessions can typically be rescheduled at no additional charge when notice is given at least 48 hours in advance, subject to availability.

Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled session may receive a refund of any payments made. Cancellations made within 7 days of the session are generally non-refundable, as the date has been reserved exclusively for you.

In the event of severe weather, illness, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances, I will work with you to find a suitable alternative date whenever possible. Specific cancellation and rescheduling terms will be outlined in your booking agreement prior to confirming your session.

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

All photography packages include professionally edited digital images delivered through a private online gallery, making it easy to view, download, and share your photos. Each online gallery provides high resolution (for print and archiving) and web-ready (for social media) files so you have everything you need to share in print or online. From the gallery you can also select printing and album options to have your favourite images professionally printed, ensuring exceptional colour, detail, and longevity.

5. How long till I receive the final photos?

As always, turnaround times are dependent on the nature, time, and location of the session and will be discussed with you before you make your booking. As a general guide:

Events: you can expect to receive the photos within 24 hours - often sooner.

Portrait shoots: usually within 2-4 days

Weddings: 3 weeks at most, with a sample selection of roughly a dozen photos available shortly after the wedding.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Of course! I want to hear your ideas, see your inspiration images, must-have shots, or specific poses you'd like included in your session. Whether it's a particular family portrait, a creative concept, or a meaningful detail you want captured, I'll do my best to incorporate your vision.

Don't worry if you don't have specific poses or ideas in mind. I have a wealth of experience providing guidance and helping clients get beautiful portraits that still feel natural.

7. Can we meet before the session?

Absolutely! Choosing a photographer can be daunting - especially for big events like weddings or engagements. I'd love to schedule a video chat or meet in-person so you can get to know me a little better, understand my approach to photography, and any questions that come to mind.

If you've booked me for a wedding, it's likely that we'll meet virtually or in-person a few times before the big day so that we can discuss ideas, runsheets, logistics, etc. Planning a wedding is a big job, and it's important that you feel comfortable and relaxed about the your choice of photographer.
